Letter of Award - Diversion Works
On 22nd April 2015, MACE received a letter of award for the utility diversion & protection works at Oqba Ibn Nafie Station on the Design-Build Red Line South Underground of Qatar Integrated Railway Project.
The LOCA and Notice to Proceed is issued by QDVC GS E&C Al Darwish Engineering, the main contractor for Qatar Rail.
The works include removed and subsequent reinstatement of street lighting poles, suspension & protection of EHV, HV, MV & LV electrical cables, sewers and TSE lines, diversion of stormwater drainage and foul sewer lines & manholes including associated connection to existing manholes, asphalt reinstatement works as well as over pumping of existing flows to facilitate foul sewer and storm water diversions.
The works also include suspension, protection and removal of existing potable water lines as well as Ooredoo & QAF ducts.
