Mr. Nidal Salameh
Managing Director
Nidal is a holder of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Nottingham University in the United Kingdom and a Master of Science degree in Construction Engineering and Management from the University of California at Berkeley, USA
Nidal Salameh has over 40 years of experience in infrastructure construction. He started his career in 1982 working for a contractor in Qatar and was involved the construction of the Corniche Sea Wall in Doha. In 1988 he moved to the UAE where he joined MACE as a Project Manager. He worked there for 18 years, the last 6 of which he served as Managing Director. Throughout his tenure at MACE UAE, Nidal executed numerous sewerage, storm water, potable water and other utilities projects in Abu Dhabi. He gained extensive and specialized experience in ground water dewatering, tunneling, deep trench excavation, pipeline network construction, specialized trenchless pipeline rehabilitation as well as operation & maintenance of sewerage, drainage and irrigation networks.
Nidal identified the potential in the State of Qatar and left Abu Dhabi to establish MACE Qatar WLL in Doha in September 2006 where he is currently Managing Director.
Mr. Farouk Abdelaziz
D. General Manager
Farouk holds a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca in Romania and an MBA from the American University of London.
Farouk brings more than 38 years of experience in Operations, Engineering Management, Building Construction as well as Civil and Infrastructure Construction in the Gulf. He worked in Kuwait where, in addition to his construction experience, he acquired legal knowledge, working for several years for a law office specialized in construction litigations.
Farouk successfully managed the execution of several infrastructure projects for the construction of various pipeline systems including chilled water, stormwater, potable water, sewerage, irrigation, & firefighting by open-cut and tunneling techniques as well as street lighting and high-voltage cabling works. Farouk directly manages the operations of the Civil Construction Division at MACE Qatar W.L.L.. All other Divisions and Departments Managers also report to him.
Farouk serves as the Management Representative for Quality, Environment, Health and Safety Management. He is a member of the Kuwait Engineers Society, the Jordanian Engineers Society and the American Concrete Institute.
