Operation and Maintenance Department
This includes sewerage, stormwater, and groundwater drainage networks of pipelines of various materials such as GRP, uPVC, HDPE, RCP, VC, CS, SS, etc. with various jointing mechanisms. These pipeline networks include structures such as sewage treatment plants, pumping stations, valve chambers, discharge chambers, washout chambers, manholes of many types, thrust blocks, road gullies, swales, culverts, etc.
O&M Department already has a 5yr+5yr Catchment Zone Framework Contract signed with Ashghal, valid until 31st January 2030. Under this Framework Contract, MACE and its JV Partner signed a 5-year Work Order Contract for the operation & maintenance of Catchment Zone West. The Main core O&M activities are:
• O&M of Doha West Treatment Plant, Barzan Camp PTP, 37 Foul Sewer Pumping Stations, 8 Storm Water Pumping Stations and 2 Treated Water Pumping Stations.
• Operations and Maintenance of Qatar West Catchment Drainage Network, which Includes The Foul Sewer Network of most of Central Doha (Total Length of Network: 1,308 KM), Treated Water Networks for the Qatar West Catchment (Total Length of Network: 486 KM) and the Surface Ground Water Network of Highways and Main Road to the entirety of the State of Qatar (Total Length of Network: 1,373 KM).
